As per General Resolution # 3/16, the Public Register of Commerce (Inspección General de Justicia/ IGJ), published today in the Official Gazzette, it was set forth the public access to the files of commercial and civil entities registered before the Register.
The General Resolution states that “The information existing in the Registry shall be made available to the public, with the limitations set forth in Act 25.326, not withstanding the requirements of fees to be paid”.
According to this General Resolution, it shall not be necessary to show a “legitimate interest” to get information regarding the entities or to access the file with their antecedents and registrations. The only limitations shall be those based in Act 25.326 of Personal Data Protection.
